PASSIVE SMOKING – Why not spare the non-smokers?

Many people are not familiar with the term passive smoking, while others do not understand the exact meaning. It is defined as the inhalation of the smoke from the cigar as well as the exhaled smoke from the smoking from the smoker.
But many of them do not understand the exact meaning or are unaware of the smoking hazards. The smoke, which comes from the exhalation, is also very harmful to the third person as it is to the smoker. Passive smoking could result in many health hazards like respiratory diseases, strokes, cancer and even coronary diseases. It is an amazing fact that the exhaled smoke would remain the same even in a well-ventilated room for about an hour or so after the completion of the last cigar. Thus it provides more time for the inhalation process making it even more harmful.
In case if adults, it is possible to move away from the room where smoke is present but in case of a child, this is simply impossible. Thus the child also becomes a passive smoker attaining all risks associated with it. Upon a survey, it is been reported that in United Kingdom almost five million people are subjected to passive smoking and while taking world wide estimation, the fact is that almost half of the kids live in homes filled with smoke. Considering children, it would be more difficult for them to move away if their house is the so. Due to this fact, children are more likely to be prone of passive smoking. Another important fact is that, children breathe faster and so they are likely to inhale more smoke and thus resulting in dreadful diseases.
In case of children having smoking mothers, the condition is worse. Such children are more prone to dreadful and fatal diseases. Respiratory problems are considered to be of peak value. Asthma is one of the major one regarded to be of importance. Other diseases related are heart disease and lung cancer. Passive smoking would result in the same health risk factors as the smoker would be subjected to. The estimation is considered to be recognized in figures. It is determined that the risk is 20%-30% in case of lung cancer and 25%-35% in case of heart disease. In case of stroke the figuring is of about 80%. Hence, the possible risks of passive smoking are regarded to be the most important cause of some of the major diseases.
